After a very long wait, Voodoo Voice 3.0 for iTunes has been released! Other than the obvious (support for iTunes!), Voodoo Voice 3.0 features:
- A new install process that only requires you to download the components you need. No need to download 50 meg of speech engines if you already have them! Plus, the installer should now work more reliably for more people.
- A new user-interface that makes it much easier to discover the features of Voodoo Voice.
- A new, more flexible, XML based personality system enables more customization of voice commands and responses.
- Multithreaded playlist loading. Your music player will no longer lock up for awhile while building voice commands for your enormous playlist. You can even use non-playlist voice commands while the voice playlist is loading.
- A foundation for many more improvements to come.
